Megan Johnston, Executive Director, and John Settle, Mediator and former Board Member, hosted a delegation of 19 professionals from the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of China on December 7th. The group requested a presentation from Northern Virginia Mediation Service during their labor dispute resolution visit to the Washington, DC area. Megan and John introduced to their audience the history and work of NVMS, and discussed local workplace mediation experience and procedures with the group. The delegation rewarded NVMS with a beautiful set of commemorative plates which will be displayed in the office.
